Genesis - How to Add the Social Icons

  1. First, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Simple Social Icons plugin
  2. Once activated, head to Appearance > Customize > Widgets, or Appearance > Widgets
  3. Add the “Simple Social Icons” widget into the Social Icons widget area
  4. Add your social media URLs
  5. Save!

Display the Social Icons in the Header

If you want the icons to display in the header, head to Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Logo and Header Settings. Check the box to display social icons in the header.

Display the Social Icons in the Footer

If you want the icons to display in the footer, head to Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Footer. Check the box to display social icons in the footer.

Social Icon Colors

To change the colors of the social icons in the Header, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Colors > Header

To change the colors of the social icons in the Footer, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Colors > Footer
