How to Add Hearten Made as an Admin User
For theme support, installation, or customization purposes, sometimes I ask for your login information. You can easily create a temporary user login for me so that you're not having to share your main login information!
Adding the user
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to Users > Add User
- Next to Username, write:
heartenmadesupport - Next to email, write:
hello@heartenmade.com - Next to Password, please generate a strong password. Click the "Show" button and copy the password that is shown.
- Uncheck the box for "send the new user an email"
- Important: In the Role dropdown, change the role to Administrator
- Click Add User
- Send me the password that you created and copied.
Removing the user
When everything's all set — whether that was an issue we were troubleshooting or theme installation — you are free to remove my admin account by going to Users > All Users, hover over my user and click Delete. In the next screen, make sure to select "Attribute all content to:" and select YOUR user from the dropdown. Confirm deletion.
