How to Install a Plugin
Install through search
- From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New
- Search for the plugin you want in the upper right side of the screen
- Choose the Plugin you’d like to install and click the Install button
- Wait for it to install, and then click the Activate button to activate the plugin
Install by downloading & uploading the .zip file
If you’ve downloaded a plugin from the WordPress repository or purchased a third-party plugin, you can simply upload the file in the Plugins page.
- From your dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New
- Near the top, click the Upload Plugin button
- Browse for the plugin ZIP file on your computer and upload it
- Wait a moment for it to install and then click the Activate button to activate your new plugin
