HOW TO USE THIS SUPPORT SITE
I'm so happy to announce the new Support Docs site for Hearten Made themes! On this support site, you will find your theme documentation guides, WordPress tutorials, Genesis tutorials, Kadence tutorials, plugin tutorials + more!
Depending on the type of child theme you purchased, you'll choose either "Genesis Child Themes" or "Kadence Child Themes" in the top navigation. Then, on the left side of the page under "Categories", click on your theme name. This will open the articles for your theme.
Each Hearten Made theme has its very own Theme Documentation section that contains articles that will walk you through how to set up your new theme.
To begin installing your theme, just click on the first article and work your way down. You don't have to do everything in order, but if you're new to WordPress, it might help to start at the top.
Or you can simply go to the homepage of this support site, and click on your theme name at the bottom of the page.
Kadence & Genesis Articles
If you see an article that starts with "Kadence - ", this means this tutorial is for Kadence child themes only, and will work for any Kadence child theme.
If you see an article that starts with "Genesis - " this means the tutorial is for Genesis child themes only, and will work for any Genesis child theme.
If an article doesn't have Kadence or Genesis at the beginning of the name, this just means the tutorial will work for any site running any theme and is probably just a general WordPress tutorial.
An article that starts with "your theme name - " (e.g. Daze - Colors and Fonts), means the tutorial is specific to that theme.
The Tutorials section of the support site is full of helpful tutorials for WordPress, Genesis, Kadence, plugins, etc.
Under "Categories" on the left side of the Tutorials page, you'll notice a few different tutorial sections you can browse through:
Theme Tutorials – General tutorials related to themes
WordPress Tutorials – Tutorials on WordPress
Plugin Tutorials – Tutorials related to plugins
The Troubleshooting section of the support site addresses many common issues and questions I'm asked about regularly– and how to fix them!
Under "Categories" on the left side of the Troubleshooting page, you'll notice a couple of different sections you can browse through:
Most Common Issues – Fixing the most common issues and FAQ
Something is Missing – Is something missing from your site?
Because there are so many articles, if you ever have trouble finding what you're looking for, just go back to the support homepage and use the search bar to find what you're looking for, or use the support button on the bottom right side of the site. You can type in a question or search terms.
